9th ANNUAL "HATS OFF" LUNCHEON
May 3, 2010 at Jungle Island
The Hats Off Luncheon is the Honey Shine Mentoring Program’s premier fundraising event. Since 2003, the Hats Off Luncheon has attracted more attendees each year to support the empowerment of young girls. Each spring, current Honey Shine Lady Bugs (members) and supporters look forward to wearing their favorite hat and partaking in a silent auction filled with great stylish items. This event also highlights Honey Bugs, mentors and Lady Bugs from the current year. Proceeds from the event benefit the Honey Shine Mentoring Program which encourages the balance of mind, body, and soul in girls and women by providing nurturing experiences that enlighten their paths and empower their future.
* If you are interested in becoming a member or attending the luncheon please contact Andrea Graham at Andrea@honeyshine.org

CAMP HONEY SHINE
June - July 2011
Camp Honey Shine is a day camp open to all girls enrolled in the Honey Shine Mentoring Program located at Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart. Camp Honey Shine enables us to further enrich their lives with experiences and activities that will continue to broaden their horizons throughout the summer. Camp Honey Shine provides an environment for young girls to learn how to develop their own voice and sense of direction in life by bringing them in contact with people, resources, and messages that are life changing. Camp Honey Shine helps the girls to build on social skills, physical and thinking skills, values and a positive identity that continue to allow them to be empowered to shine. Our girls participate in a variety of activities that include dance, arts and crafts, swimming, reading, yoga and meditation, educational field trips, and so much more.

Please check back frequently as dates are subject to change as well as for event updates!
