“In 2002, after a lot of soul searching, I founded the Honey Shine Mentoring Program. I wanted to make a difference in the lives of young girls. It is my calling, and now my mission, to teach and learn through mentoring. My commitment to the Honey Shine Mentoring Program is not only spiritually fulfilling but also inspiring future leaders. I invite and encourage other woman to join me in shining their light to brighten the paths of our young girls.” - Tracy Wilson Mourning

Tracy Wilson Mourning is a mentor, designer, broadcast journalist, loving mother and wife. She is a Howard University graduate, born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. Now a proud Miami resident, Tracy has dedicated herself to the young women who are part of the Honey Shine Mentoring Program, a program of Alonzo Mourning Charities, founded in 2002.

As the founding visionary, Tracy created the Honey Shine Mentoring Program to develop and nurture the mind, body and soul of young women by providing experiences that enlighten and create balance in their lives.

Tracy is grateful for the higher power that guides her in everything she does. Her spirituality gives her peace and empowerment that is also reflected in the ideologies of Honey Shine (honeyshine.org), Honey Child (honeychild.net), and Myka and Me (mykaandme.com).
